aNe's Fire & Water: Two Days of Visual Art and Live Music in Central London

This weekend, Saturday 28th January - Sunday 29th January 2023, London-based events promoter Air n Electricity (aNe) are hosting their Fire & Water event: two days of visual art and live music at Spiral Studios, 44a Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3PD. Each day the doors will open at 2pm, and close around 10pm.

London-based events promoter aNe is taking over Spiral Studios this weekend to host an exciting lineup of artists, both optic and aural, including Baby Panna who is confirmed to be performing his single Moonlight, which has topped 500,000 streams, live for the first time.

Air n Electricity began in 2019 promoting hip hop events, more recently adding R&B and Soul to its liveshow repertoire. This event is set to be a more relaxed atmosphere than the late night rap shows, though. With live demonstrations by visual artists accompanied by musical performers in 2 full days over the weekend, the laid back environment attracts a more ‘come as you please’ policy for culture seekers.

Live music performances will come from the one and only Baby Panna - whose recent success with his single Moonlight represents only the tip of the iceberg in terms of his ability with Rhythm And Poetry - alongside Mazvita, Hannah Lev, Aidy Wadey, Shirin, and Isaiah Manney. We’re looking forward to what each of these artists cranks out at Spiral on the weekend.

Meanwhile, among the visual artists exhibiting are Central Saint Martins alumni AMI, a female painter with a tasteful ankh finger tattoo; Daniel Santangelo, a mixed media artist who thrives off earthy colours; Visioninsideliomesmind, a digital artist who has created artwork for aNe in the past (see below) and will be doing projections at the event after dark; and Fready, who you may know as 1/3rd of Forever International but has expanded his creative output to graphic effects, and will be displaying his lesser-known talents over the weekend.

We’re excited to see what this two-day event holds in store. aNe are yet to disappoint, and - with this new direction incorporating a visual element to the experience - we suspect the event quality is only getting better.

With the venue being a mere 5 minute walk from Old Street tube station, accessible via the Northern line, SOuthside Mag will be making an appearance. We hope to see you there, and will be back to report on its unravelings.

Tickets to Fire & Water can be purchased by tapping here, costing just £5 for either Saturday or Sunday, or £8.60 for both.
